so the lab down the hall from me is still being cleaned out, already i've snagged an old tektronics 2213a O scope, and an old multimeter, but i got maybe the best yet today, a box full of probably 200 used tubes, i'm sure some are no good, but a lot of them look fine, i've got to go through the box to see exactly what i have, but there are a ton of mil spec 12sl7gt tubes, anyone know any headphone amps/projects that use these tubes?

Might check on the tube substitution handbook. Lots of tubes can be substituted for others. (maybe you'll find a copy of the book in there as well!)
