Since there apparently aren't any staff on this site and the Frankenfiio v1 and v2 thread I requested moved 5 days ago is still in the same god damn place, I'm making a new thread.

This is the 3rd incarnation of my FiiO E3 mod. It started with me needing an amp with a volume control 8for line out use) until the E5 arrives, and has turned into three different amps. I finally found a small potentiometer today so I managed to make an E3 with both a volume control and an itnegrated LOD in the same case as the E3. Cosmetically not the best since it's all taped up but its only a temp thing until i get the E5

Doesnt that put a lot of strain on the dock connector?

I use it at home, its not tossed around or anything, so no.
