Okay, I just wanted to get the latest pulse on what my fellow Head-Fi brothers will be spending their hard earned money on music this upcoming Fourth of July. Please make a list of what you will definitely get and what you are thinking about. Thanks!

Linkin Park - Meteora
Luther Vandross - Dance With My Father
Amy Grant - Legacy

I just whipped this out of my pocket. Don't ascribe too much faith in this, I don't. My purchases tend to be at 33% from the list, and 66% whimsy.

u-ziq (don't know how to get mu in ASCII) - Bilious Paths
Hate Dept. - Ditch
ohGr - Sunnypsyop*
Razed in Black - Damaged*
Antimatter - Lights Out*
Liz Phair - (---)...?...maybe, need to do some research first, perhaps hear it if possible...
Jewel - 0304
Virgin Black - Elegant & Dying
Atomsmasher - Drop the Bomb
Steve Hackett - To Watch the Storms +*
Karate - Bed is in the Ocean

The way I usually come up with this list is to look over the last few weeks' "new releases" at AMG.

PS * - got

Nice choices! The Flatlands may be less approachable than the rest however: the pieces are more like sketches of ideas instead of well-formed compositions. The intoxicating waltz The Black Cat, however, is worth the price of admission,

BOWIE - Aladin Sane 30th anniversary edition 2CD

Just came out last week and like Ziggy 30th set you get new improved remaster of main album, on CD2 you have a couple non album tracks, rare single alternative versions of album tracks, and several live versions.

The graphics package is great, like a small hard cover book with many pages of cool photos and info.

If you are more than just a casual Bowie fan get both 30th anniversary editions

As far as new main stream rock Marilyn Manson GAOG & Radiohead HTTT are the only ones I bought recently.

Hmmm, sounds tasty, but I doubt it would do so well to stick anyone of these into your PCDP or CDP.

Well, I just did my shopping and I got these CDs:

Michelle Branch, "The Spirit Room" and "Hotel Paper"
Amy Grant, "Legacy...Hymns & Faith"

I'm listening to "Hotel Paper" now and she ROCKS! For once, I agree with the hype / buzz surrounding this album (read: I go against the grain more often than not). Branch is definitely climbing up the pop charts with this album.
