ORDER HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE BUT FEEL FREE TO POST MORE RECOMMENDATIONS AS I WILL LIKELY BE UPGRADING LATER

Looking to spend $150. I would prefer the best experience at my desk.
Desk Setup is Emotiva Little ego to 50W Bas X A-100 I use for headphones so all that is chained to desk setup.
Also have Z906 5.1 running off SPDIF

Second setup is laptop which also has SPDIF

so right now looking at 2 speakers for around $150

Micca RB42

Edifier R1700BT

I think the Micca is better but I would have to run it using only 50W from the Bas X on the other hand the Edifier is an all in one so I could leave the Z906 at the desk (again I WANT the best speakers at desk but I also own many very nice headphones see SIG so I don't NEED it)

2 real questions how much better are Micca's running off only 50W AMP (small room/desk area) and how bad is the Z906 I honestly WANT the Micca but for $150 am leaning to Edifier since my TV/bedroom I don't want to wire for 5.1 or with the powerful Z906 SUB.... Would prefer Micca on the TV/bedroom but I don't see a viable AMP/DAC setup for around $100 except the

"Pyle PDA6BU.5"

a no name no reviews by legit reviewers but good amazon reviews and a used schiit modi or something and thats all at a premium of $100 which I think I could get just $250 speakers that run on 50W maybe so any recommends for $250 50Wish speakers to trade off for the Z906 so I get the most for wiring and setting up a 5.1 system that really doesn't work easily

Eh. Save up a little more and get a pair of JBL 305PMKII. Sales / refurbs regularly get them to $200 for a pair. Assuming there's enough space on your desk to leave a 1ft+ open behind each speaker for the rear port I doubt you can do better for the money. I use a pair with a Topping D50 and Chromecast Audio as my bedroom system. Fills a ~12x16 room no problem.

If you have the desk space, 306p mk2. A pair are just under $400 new, plus cables.

i have edifier speakers (non blue tooth).. theyre just a notch above "ok" ... decent for the price... but my smaller mackie's seem to sound better. if u can save a little more, more doors open, but if you absolutely need something now and you dont want to deal with RCA's or TRS's, the Edifier isnt bad at all.

Thank you everyone for your help. I just went with Klipsch 2.1 Promedia.... I know dissapointing! I did however get $240 off an order of $400,I needed some items for my business(it needed to be shipped and sold by amazon items only! sadly none of the recommends where) and got a liquid spark since I like having a more resolving AMP to go with my Bas-X... From what I gleam I can get a lot more as far as sound quality if I spend $500 on some of the speakers listed here + a sub and a good AMP so I will eventually go that method but for now even the $20 logitechs where doing an OK job for what is essentially a workdesk on my bed for when I didn't want to wear speakers so please know I will be happy and written down all your recommends but a part of this needed to be business hardware so using the whole $400 was out of the question. I will likely go with one recommended later when I have time to setup a proper system! I trusted you guys to vote on stuff I bought over $1000 of it so head-fi members have never let me down :)
