you do not need to pull out the sponge ring though and the pads just twist off anticlockwise

Can anyone help me? Accidentally put a bit too much pressure on one of the metal stanchions on my TH-X00 PURPLEHEART headphones and it snapped. Anyone know how or where to replace this piece???

Polish kit worked a charm, almost completely eliminated the marks on mine and mine was a pretty bad case of them.

You may want to try 3D print it. Go measure the dimension and create it in the software.

So my polishing kit for the Purplehearts finally came in yesterday. It does make them look a lot better but they don't give you enough polish to do both cups thoroughly. I know it was meant for spot treatment but once you hit the problem areas and make them look pretty, you still have to do the entire cups to even out the shine. Not a huge deal to me since I have other stuff I can use, but after spending all that time and effort to make this right, they could have spent a few pennies more to give an extra spits worth of polish.
Massdrop: A for effort, but a C for execution.
And they're still using that f@cking DHL Global Mail so it takes twice as long as if they were to send it regular surface mail in the CONUS.

Previous page should do.
It's the joint at the side of the cup not the top part. I've tried to open it up but the joint seems like it had been glued so I guess I can not do anything.

The white metal ring (between the metal pin, yoke and cup) on the right side of the cup seems to be pushed too far into the cup.Hi justvinh
http://www.head-fi.org/t/595683/fostex-th900-impressions-discussion-thread/2790
about half way down the page
This creates space for the yoke to move back and forth. When I move around my head while wearing the PH I can hear clicking noises on the right side because of this metal yoke movement. Any ways to fix this?
