You are right. That's the very reason I try to keep Head-Fi reading to a minimum. Also, wallet has a strong opinion.
Apart of all this I also try to force myself to value what I have instead of the non-stop pursue for better sound.
I know, this is not a usual Head-Fi attitude, but Head-Fi is not my life, it is just a hobby. (Trying to convince myself.)

But really, my above mentioned setup must satisfy most of the audio freaks with my kind of wallet and interest. I just want to enjoy for a while instead of looking what could sound better. There is always better I know very well.

  Sounds like upgrading my Uber BiForst would be a good idea. The ONLY thing I wonder about is when you watch that long and Extensive review on YT that Z Reviews did on the Bi-Frost Multibit. He does a pretty good A/B vs. the regular Bi-Frost and found no difference, it does make you wonder sometimes... The part that I really was not happy which is just luck is my Bi-Frost broke under warranty and there was only an Uber grade out there... Had it broke just 2-3 months later I would have been good to go...

I will have no choice but to audit this new multibit invention from Schiit.

Mojo gives the most natural sound I have ever heard. Smooth, effortless and still very detailed. Beats the s**t out of iFi Micro iCan for example.
 Detailed, natural, smooth, liquidy. I find it hard to believe any multibit Schiit could compete. (I might be wrong though.)

Chord is a High-fi company making a product in mid-fi pricing the first time.
 Mojo blew my mind. That £350 I spent for Mojo was the best investment I have ever spent in audio world. I am yet to hear Schiit multibit to change my present perception.

Do not know about mid-fi once things start costing well over $1K USD, that starts to out of the realm of mid-fi to me. Do they sell a bit of mid-fi stuff? Sure! I own a Lyr and Bi-Frost. but to me when I look at the Chord Mojo I see a cheaply made unit that is supposed to sound amazing! it is hard to find a bad
Mojo review if any at all...

So I replaced the pads on these with the ZMF Lambskin pads and like Zach said earlier they complement the x00's sound signature quite well. I am really enjoying the increased soundstage and instrument separation also, it's massive! Much different from the intimate presence the stock x00 pads have. The bass also seems a lot more full and I originally replaced these only because the x00 pads irritated my ears after a bit of listening, but after witching to the lambskin these are definitely the most comfortable pads I have owned yet. I recommend these to anyone seeking increased soundstage and comfort!

Schiit is a full range company. They make arguably best DAC in the world (Yggy), all the way down to the humble Fulla. They're much more than a mid-fi company. Calling Schiit a mid-fi company is like calling Sennheiser a mid-fi company because they make the HD600.

Nice. Are your pads the new Omni pads that Zach recently released?

I believe mine are just the standard ZMF lambskin pads, I am willing to try the Omni though. Not sure what the difference would be in sound.
EDIT: So yea I see Zach recommended the Omni over the standard oval pads. I'll probably order Omni pads also and see which ones I like more.

Expect 30hz-600hz to be boosted, sloping down to 1khz and having 1khz-4khz recessed while 5khz-9khz gets pushed up too and 10khz+ being forward.

Thats generally the case with deeper undampened/reflectorless pads compared to stock from my tests.

RE: headphone stands I found the omega shaped stands to be too short and I was concerned about strain on the cable entries into the housing. I went with the adjustable stand from Woo Audio and love it. I have it raised up a bit so there is plenty of clearance for the cables. I went with the single black stand and it's a tank. They powder coat it so I'll never have to worry about it getting damaged. They make a double sided stand to hang 2 pairs from, as well. It was pricey at $70 but the real deal omega stands are like $150 anyhow.

Yeah! Mine is on the way too. I can't wait already seriously. The waiting when I ordered till now felt quick, but when I get a shipping notification, a day feels like a year haha! Hopefully we'll all be happy with the Purpleheart!
