New puppy decided to eat my cord. So I did the mod tonight on my Fostex ThX00. Both speakers connected however this cable I got does not work. I'm assuming it's because the 3.5mm ends are 2 pole and not 3 pole? Because when I pulled the cord out half way I was able to get audio. At least I know there is hope, it was a relief just to hear them speak again. First time using a Dremel and moddding a $400 pair of headphones. Worst part was trying to strip the wires, finally used a lighter and then ends pulled clean off. Cool trick thanks to YouTube
