I'm still waiting for positive confirmation "what newly developed driver " means on the new 900 and how it differentiates.

Does anyone here have experience with replacing a TH900 driver? Any diagrams, videos, or pictures would be really helpful. Thanks!

like i said, that's a rumour that remains unconfirmed. it seems to me that the folks who would know which drivers are actually being used in the thx00 are the fostex design team and possibly will bright of massdrop. i couldn't care less whether the thx00 contains the same drivers that were used for the th600 or not tbh.

I'm with you on this.....e.g.how much expense went into developing the TH900 and how many they sell so far....exactly. 2000 units is a very healthy number.....and counting.

Just unscrew it and replace it

. Where can you buy th900 drivers ?

That's the plan! I just need to figure out how, lol. I've been told that the replacement part number is AMS-1471548843, and that I should contact dealers like Full Compass or Guitar Center to order it. I'm looking into that now.

Well, please keep me updated. I may want to buy those :D. The drivers is fairly easy to replace, if you are a DIY guy, the rating would be 2/10 for easy/tough work

Oh really? Have you done it yourself, or have you seen it done? I'd appreciate instructions here.

  Hi..........He never confirmed.

Sorry,

I was originally looking for replacement stock pads, because i know what im getting with them.

Just wanted a quick description of the effects of the lawton pads alone because whenever people talk about them its often in conjunction with other Lawton mods.

If anyone is willing to point me towards some opinions or give their own that would be great :)

Never replaced the drivers, but had took it a part for recables and mods

Take off the leather pad by pulling it around the edge carefully. Very easy...expose this white plastic ring

Counter clockwise turn the white plastic ring to take it off

The screws inside the grooves are the one connect to the cup. The 4 others are the drivers to the frame

There, just screw and unscrew . Some soldering ofcourse, and put back together, but I assume you already know that.
