Slappa hardbody headphone case is fine without cables(for mk2). I carry it in my bag between home and work.

Here is a link to my Pelican case post. If it doesn't come through, search for the word Spartan with my name and you will find it.

Thank you for this. This is exactly what I wanted to see. It looks like the 1300 fits perfectly with no room for other things. I was thinking of getting something I can put under the seat while on the plane. Maybe throw my passport and a pen inside. I might even look into a bigger size to see if I can put in a dac and ipod or something.

Here is a picture of the Pelican 1300 with the TH-900 (Gen 1), the complete cable, and RSA Intruder + Cayin N3 stack. I had to remove the interconnecting USB cable, but the Intruder and N3 fit. So you have about N3 size space between the headphones. I (personally) would not transport it like this, because the edges of the Intruder were pushing into the head band. I am sure that they would leave a mark if left for any length of time.

I would think that you can easily fit a DAP between the headphone bands.
Or you can pull more foam out of the bottom and have a secure place for it to fit that would be below the headphone band.
And there is still room for a passport and a pen. :)

I'm having trouble seeing the attachment. But the past post kinda gave me an idea.

Are the emerald green ones out just in time for the holidays ? Put the green and red together and you got the holiday colors.

    Anyone picking up a pair?

    Ill stick with these.

I like the headphone but not so much the "C" in the background. :gs1000smile: GLG!:L3000:

It’s a bit blurry but below the C is the maple leaf gardens signed by 67 champs...

Dang, I hope they sound as good as they look. Any impressions? Just curious, what did you do with the original cups?

awesome, i did this upgrade years ago.,so...but it made the stage a bit bigger and the bass a bit tighter which was my original problem with th900. Yes It turned out well, even mark commented the whole staff liked it. Maybe not many orders for hawaiin kona museum grade...

A bigger sound stage and tighter bass do trigger my interest. I don't see many cup modded th900s. So what did you do with the original cups? :o2smile:

Here the link I got the full mod...never had an issue with the highs but I guess it takes a little out of the high fr, dunno cause the wider stage expands the mids a bit.
