Hello guys,
I currently own a Fostex TH-X00 and a Schiit Jotunheim
Since I also have a Neutrik NC4MXX male connector, I am looking forward to have the 1/4" jack connector at the end of the Fostex cable replaced by this one
NB : I have seen full cable replacement mods, including detachable plugs on the headphones themselves, but this isn't what I want to do. I just need to replace the connector
Before proceeding, there are a couple of things I would like to know :

- can the jack connector of the Fostex be opened / unscrewed ? ( in order to have a look at the current wiring / soldering )
- are the signal cables within the thick black braided cable color coded ? ( in order to make it easy for the pole identification )
