I upgraded from the DX90 to a DX150. Since there is only 1 memory card slot, I purchased a Sandisk 400GB MicroSD card to be used.

When inserted and prompted to prepare the card to be used in the DX150, it starts to format and then times out @ 20% (with the error shown below).

'java.itul.concurrent.TimeoutException: Thread Binder_3 gave up waiting for partitionPrivate after 180000ms'

On Android 6.1 and I am hesitant to upgrade to Orio unless I have to.

Can someone please share any insights you may have..
Thank you

For troubleshooting I would try formatting it on a PC using a card reader.
If you're still getting problems, the card is faulty.

Many thanks for your quick response. The card was tested using software and also files written to (over 300GB) on a PC without any issue.

The issue starts when you select the option 'use as internal storage' when the card is inserted, first time.

Do you think that the DX150 /software is not compatible with cards over 256GB ?

The other option is to select the prompt 'use as portable storage' BUT under this option Albums/songs which have the character - don't get compiled in the library - they are shown as NULL
