For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Don't wish that on him. Jada has gotten in the way of my marriage. She has to leave next week.
I'm sure going to miss the wife's cooking. 😏😜
Lucky you, you will be alone with Jada, no more wife's disturbance :relieved:

JRiver Media Center (PC) > SMSL SU9 > SMSL SH9 > Grado SR325x

Peter Gabriel 3 - Some big names on this one such as Phil Collins, Robert Fripp, Paul Weller and Kate Bush. Apparently Gabriel gave the drummers, Phil Collins and Jerry Marotta one rule that cannot be broken - No cymbals. Some great songs on this album, with the well known trio of No Self Control, Games Without Frontiers and Biko being the cream of the crop. I wanted to bring out the sounds of the various drums and percussion instruments so the choice was between the Grados and the Beyers but as I already had the Grados to hand they won the vote. :L3000:

Apparently Phil Collins was fine with it but Jerry Marotta found it hard to adapt - likened to a right handed person learning to write with their left hand, lol

Starting off the week I grabbed my CFA Cascades. Just going through recently purchased stuff like The Blue Stones, Larkin Poe, Crosses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bywater Call, Marcus King...

Everything is sounding great! I know the Radiance are technically better, but these are tons of fun.

Laptop to BF2 to Vio V220 to Cascades with XL pads. :L3000:

I could do it, but why? That's like saying let's have pasta without the sauce, pizza without the toppings, french fries without the ketchup. Or if I told you to speak, but not use any consonants. I'm all for experiementing, but I'm not sure I'm cool with limiting the means of expression. Then again, maybe I'm just reacting this way because I already don't like Peter Gabriel much and now I have to listen to his album to see how this turned out.

Edit: I should add that I got hired for a few session gigs where all I did was essentially lay down beats with a bass drum, snare, and sometimes a tom or two and it can be fun, but as a drummer who's a big proponent of cymbals as more than accent pieces I'm having trouble thinking of why I'd want to limit a piece to no cymbals. That said, you and I clearly appreciate a lot of the same music so I have PG3 up next in my cue because you're musical inclinations tend to ve good ones.

Man, you're really good with photoshop!
Thanks. I'm just passing the time when listening to music. Better than passing gas......🤣 I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Starting to get the hang of passing gas while listening to music? Jada tells me you've had the hang of that for a while. She even called it your expertise. 😜

I'm currently listening to my ThieAudio Excaliburs plugged into my Cayin N8ii which is dishing up the hi-res tunes while I'm on my quad riding the fence line on my ranch making sure I don't have anymore fence repairs to do. Taking a break ATM since I'm in an area where I'm picking up a decent cell signal.

Up in my queue is an album I have seen a few people here mention that's sounding pretty legit to me, Larkin Poe's Blood Harmony. I have heard some of their previous work, but I have to say that this album is shaping up to be my favorite of those that I've heard. It's catchy, musically engaging, and so far a but more cohesive as a whole rather than just a collection of random tracks. Let me put it this way, these ladies sound like they're hitting there stride. If you haven't already, give this album a spin.

That's really cool. I have no artistic bone so when I see somebody that does I'm impressed.
