Full of beautiful musicianship, fresh insights, and superb engineering. Zuill offers far more sensitive and nuanced playing than he did on his previous work. More relaxed and welcoming. Robert and Thomas (recording engineer and producer respectively) did also fantastic job. The recording finds Zuill 100%. The sound and energy keep pulling me in deeper with very black background.
Not big on classical, but I would Love to hear those Susvara's. :thumbsup:

Shozy Pola 39 -> WM1A

The Pola 39 is shockingly great. Unbelievable set. So much micro detail, smooth textures and speed. They are sorely underrated and under-discussed considering what they can do.

!! Ran into a big music head I knew 40 years ago today. He lent me his HD-800 no mods for a month or two... I just mentioned maybe buying one in a thread this AM.

Picked out an LP that is great but can have a tough treble and plugged it into my BHCs and my so great Gumby and yeah it had a spike but the liquidness... Too bad I'm off to the UK in a few days.

This is imho Flying Lotus's most complex and profound work of music. Weird distortions and synthetic sounds fit the theme to a unique style and level. A ghastly-sounding feel that leaves me in a hollow shock.

I keep revisiting this work for audio evaluation purposes because it's a very challenging track pushing audio chain to the end -- big music with serious scale. At any given moment it spans most of the audio frequency range and fills the whole soundstage with clutter. Sus barely had trouble sorting out this album, partly by distributing it over a large area so that all those little pieces were better separated.

Gretchen Goes To Nebraska by Kings X - Whenever I play this band's music I always seem to start with this album and then jump to Dogman. Stayed with the Grados because they make Ty Tabor's guitar really come to life. :L3000:

They were a Really groundbreaking band in 1989. It's too bad they were overshadowed by the Grunge era. :L3000:
