Sounds (no pun intended) like a great place to work!I took most of my collection with me on the job today, and had a good time with my colleagues comparing them all. It's really cool to hear opinions from people that haven't been influenced by things they have read or head about the different headphones. They know good sound very well, just not from headphones. Awesome day at the office
Setup is a Wiim Mini, SMSL DO100 and a Behringer HA6000.
I listened mostly to Michael Ruff and the album Speaking In Melodies. Especially the track called Wishing Well, is fantastic

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

So was there any consensus as to which pair or pairs sounded the best to your colleagues? This looks like a pretty fun way to get through a work day.
On the Fostex t60rp 50th Anniversary Ed.
It is, lucky to be there, working with sound is fantastic when you are a music loverSounds (no pun intended) like a great place to work!
They don't know anything about headphones, they did not know any prices beforehand and I didn't tell them anything until they had finished listening. So was there any consensus as to which pair or pairs sounded the best to your colleagues? This looks like a pretty fun way to get through a work day.
3 guys that all live of making speakers.
Top 3 was HD600, HD490 Pro and the Fiio FT1.
Runner up was the HE1000 Stealth.
It was great fun, they had shown interest in all the gear I have brought to work over the last year, so I introduced them to the hobby

Very interesting results. I can see a certain logic to why those might be the picks, though. Sounds like you guys had some fun and that's really the important part.

I'm at the airport (LAX) again this morning waiting for a flight to take me to an event I have to put in an appearance at as part of my endorsement duties for a drum gear manufacturer I work with. You guys know me well enough by now to know that I'm taking the opportunity to do some listening. Right now I'm rockin' the ThieAudio Prestige LTDs driven by the Cayin N8ii.
Leading off in my airport queue is Bosnian Rainbows with their 2013 eponymous debut LP. BR was an avant-garde alternative rock side project started by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Deantoni Parks from The Mars Volta. They brought in Teri Gender Bender from Le Bitcherettes to handle vocals and she does a great job with the over-the-top dramatic leads that are perfect for their sound. As much as they were shooting for alternative, they ended up sounding like a band that would've made a good touring partner for 80s staples like The Cure, Duran Duran, The Smiths, etc. This is their only album and it certainly makes for some interesting listening. I was in the mood for something different this morning and this hit the spot.
Qobuz > roon > Holo Audio Cyan 2 > Violectric V222 > Hifiman Arya Stealth
Two: Wings of Ember (2024) by Tvinna - The second part of a pair of albums from this German band, the first, "One: In the Dark" was released in 2021 and is also available on Qobuz. They play dark progressive folk/rock with hints of electronica here and there for maximum effect, with some great female vocals and some nice crunchy guitar. This is my first listen but so far I'm loving it and from what I read it just keeps on getting better and better. I switched to the Aryas earlier and they are doing a great job on this album, there are some unusual instruments being played and they sound suitably strange but really add to the atmosphere. This is going to stop me going to bed!

Working at home, brought all the gear back with me yesterday, but most of it is all of its boxes.
Did grab the Sennheiser HD490 and connected it to the Tor Audio Roger with the Violectric V800 as DAC. Wanted to give the 490's a try on tubes
Music is something light and nice, suiting for a Friday morning
Kaleo with the album Surface Sounds.

well after a stressful week, we just got some much-needed great news! After being cut in tryouts last year for the 7th grade basketball team, my son worked his a$$ off all year and today he made the 8th grade team! He had an uphill battle coming from a family of hobbits. lol (this has nothing to do with my music selection today, just wanted to brag. )
Moved back over to the LCD-X to try Jonne Haven's revised EQ that boosts the mids and its amazing as usual.
Also switched it up and Im running the LCD-X on my Vali 3. It's quite interesting and I'll have to do some a/b but seems to provide them with a touch of warmth on the top.
This is heavy.
