Tidal 16/44 -> ADI-2 DAC (+6dB Low Shelf @ 85 Hz, Q=0.9) ->Topping A70pro -> (Code 23) Empire Ears Evo

Meridian by Caspro and Stilz

Big bouncy mid beats with lush fully expressed synthesizer, perfect for this over the top chain of Code 23/Empire Evo... big IEMs, BIG cable, BIGGER BEAT :)

roon > HoloAudio Cyan II > Schiit Vali 3 (Raytheon CK5670) > Grado RS-1x :musical_note::musical_note::L3000::musical_note::musical_note:

Wild Wood (1993) by Paul Weller - I was never a huge fan of The Jam and definitely not The Style Council but when Paul Weller went solo he started putting out material on another level and became an inspiration for bands like Oasis amongst many others. This, his second solo album has always been a big favourite of mine, I bought it on CD when it was first released and have loved it ever since. My favourite tracks are Can You Heal Us? (Holy Man) and the title track, Wild Wood. I'll be playing his follow up album, Stanley Road next, which is even better and his amazing cover of I Walk On Gilded Splinters. I will be sticking with the dynamic duo of the Vali 3 and the Grado RS-1x because they are doing wonderful things with these albums, they sound positively woody. :darthsmile:

Been listening to the latest Elbow record with the Vérité Closed and then went on from there down their discography as the VC just fitted as perfectly to their new, dynamic, percussive sound as it does to the previous mellow, moody, strings oriented stuff. Just sublime…

Lots of work today, really busy, but makes a good opportunity to listen quite focused to a lot of music from the home office :)

I'm still so glad I got the Violectric V800 DAC, I've been enjoying the Violectric stack so much over the past few weeks. Not sure why, but there is just something to it, for me.
Combined with the Sennheiser HD800's and some EQ, I can listen for hours on. Perfect for a day like today.

Been going over a lot of danish music today, so not sure how relevant it is to you guys, but I will share it anyway.
I dont listen to a lot of rap, but this band, and especially the guy rapping is really great, also because the lyrics are quite clever and more "mature" than what I've heard from other rappers.
Benal - Hvis det virkelig er vigtigt

Next up was a bit of pop-rock, the lead singer used to be an extremely known danish comedian/actor, but has over the last 8-10 years or so moved into music. Maybe not the best vocal performance, but I like the style of the music.
Hugorm - Tro, Hug & Kærlighed (kaerlighed)

The setup!
