Selling a pair of Stax Lambda Signature Pro Electrostatic Earspeakers in very good condition. The foam and the pleather earpads were replaced by Stax Japan last year, who also inspected the phones and gave them a clean bill of health.

However, I have recently noted that the sound level of the left side is slightly not as loud as the right. Using the voulume scale on by SRM-T1 amplifier (which goes from 0 to 10) as reference, when I set the right side to level 5, I will set the left side at level 5 1/4. At this setting both sides sound identical and there is no discernable difference over the entire frequency spectrum.

Asking $275 with free shipping by regular airmail to anywhere in the world (which I think is a very fair price, since a pair of Lambda Pros recently fetched $285 on Ebay). The only reason I'm selling these is that I want to upgrade.

I am registered under the name user name on Ebay and have 100+ feedback. I also recently sold a pair of A-T W100s to another Head-Fier, Dohminator. Send me an email or PM if interested. Thanks for your interest!

I thought you sold the w100 because you liked the stax better.

What are you going to get now?

Edit: Ze ant is a reputable seller. He did a very good job taking care of me, and getting me my headphones. They were just as described. Perfect condition.

sTaTIx,

Perhaps you would care to re-read my message, the relevant parts of which I have set out below (with emphasis added):-

"The foam and the pleather earpads were replaced by Stax Japan last year, who also inspected the phones and gave them a clean bill of health...

...However, I have recently noted that the sound level of the left side is slightly not as loud as the right."

Recently = this year not last year. I hope this clarifies things.

Hi dohminator,

Great to hear from you and thanks for the feedback (too bad this isn't the feedback forum, but nevertheless...)

Yes, I still prefer the Stax Lambda Signatures over the W100s. Actually, I'm keeping the T1 amplifier and trying to sell the Signatures to raise some money to get the current Stax Lambda Signature (i.e. the SR-404). I think I'm stuck with Stax for life
