I am considering to get a DAP for sub-£200. Mainly playing FLAC/ALAC plus some MP3

I have variety of music in my collection, from classical to J-pop to Chinese pop and Anime OSTs.

I read a lot of thumbs up posts for Plenue D. Given that this quite an old product, has Sony catch up in this game?

I saw some posts comparing the A35 to Plenue D. Most ppl pick Plenue D over A35 in sound quality and EQ.

but I also posts compare A45 vs A35 saying that it has been improved in the latest series.

Would like to see if Plenue D still have an advantage over Sony A series or not.

Coz A45 is cheaper and comes with more recent techs. With Bluetooth AptX as well.
