I've been a fan of Razer's products for awhile now.. had a copperhead, diamondback, and now the deathadder. I may have to give this new boomslang a go and see how it fairs.

Wow it glows. Logitech ftw.

You can turn the light off. But you have to install the drivers for it.

In this case, I'm still sticking with my Logitech MX518; detected immediately and you do not have to install drivers to "activate" parts of it. Side buttons ftw!

The original boomslang is the only mouse that seem to fit my hand well. I've had my eyes peeled on this one for quite some time, the ball in the original version was kinda annoying. :&

1800dpi? Too slow.

What? The only reason dpi goes above 900 is because windows mouse config is whacky. If you have the slider above half-way.....it'll skip every other frame to move faster....so in theory if you move the windows mouse config slider down below half-way and boost up your mouse's dpi it'll be smooth. Are you REALLY saying that you like 2000dpi? If so, that's insanely fast.

As far as logitech...I'll NEVER buy another logitech product. I'm currently using a MX Revolution and it's complete garbage

. The scroll wheels are glitchy, it's not on the fly, the battery life blows....it'd be an awesome mouse- if it were only 20 bucks. v_v
