There is a new kinda trial theatre in the city where a movie was recorded binaurally in the audience...

it is quite cool, though they used cheap assed koss ur-30's
however it was quite funny because people are in so much awe and the owner of the place was saying this new breakthrough technology from NASA was why the ability the headphones can produce such lifelike sounds and imaging...

i laughed and asked, aren't they binaural

and I was like um... don't all you do is setup 2 microphones on each side of a dummy head?

he was like um... that's the procedure but it takes alot to produce and master...

Good thing you were able to get educated here at Head-Fi! What city? They can't be as foolish as the folks where I come from (Buffalo).
