So I have a recording of the Bach Goldberg Variations in which each variation is a separate track, and some tracks sort of "spill over" in to the track that follows. It is encoded in WMA (not lossless), and when the track changes there is a slight click or hiccup that is quite obnoxious and quite noticeable. When I play the same tracks in WMP the track changes are seamless. What is going on here? Any help is much appreciated.

Under Preferences>Playback in Foobar 0.8.3 there is a setting for "Full File Buffering" at the top left corner in the right side of the dialog box.....in 0.9.4 it is under Preferences>Tools>Advanced (in the left pane, then) > Playback>Fading>Full file buffering (in the right pane).

If that's set higher than the file size of your WMA's, then the entire track must be read from the hard drive into RAM before it starts to play. See if setting it to zero helps.
