Hey ya'll,

I am trying to use Foobar with my Ibasso D6 DAC, but foobar keeps glitching and the sound skips momentarily. It is really annoying. I have tried to adjust the buffer in Foobar and that doesn't help. It is actually better at the default 1000ms than when you increase the buffer length.

I am running an i7 processor in a Samsung laptop, with only Microsoft Word and Foobar running at the moment. No background programs are active either.

I am using Kernel streaming. Skips and glitches every 10-15 secs.

I try ASIO and I still get glitches and skips at about the same rate.

What setting do you all use? Any advice how to remedy this. Thanks.

Get the DPC latency checker and maybe latencyMon. In the meantime directsound should be less prone to glitches and should not sound any different.
