Recently purchased this to connect my mic and Sennheiser HD650's to and trying to figure out how to connect my Z5500 to the back of this unit with the three black green and yellow cables. Do i need to connect these 3 cables to line outputs 1, 2, and 3 with adapters?

Second question is with my HD650's and the Focusrite control presets. I have the HD650's connected to mon 1 on the front with gain up all the way and it still sounds like it could be louder. Should the preset be:

Direct Routing
System Playback
2 Channel Analogue
Digital
Analogue + Digital
Standalone Preamp

Shouldn't i be able to raise the gain and blow my ears up with this amp? lol

thanks for any help.

I'm guess you would need to run a coaxial cable, from the 6i6 to the Z5500.
Set the Z5500 audio input to coaxial.
And enable Dolby Pro Logic Movie or Dolby Pro Logic Music.
This will enable the Z5500 take the 6i6's 2-channel digital audio signal, and make it come out all 6-channel (5.1) of the Z5500 speakers, as an "Expanded Stereo" output audio.

You really can not use the green/black/orange cables with the 6i6.
You might be able to use a y adapter and just connect the green cable to the 6i6, but it would not offer anything better then the coaxial (both being 2-channel signals).
Guess you could compare the green cable connection to coaxial connect, see which sounds the best.
