Dumb question; does anyone know what kind of screwdriver I would need to get for the screws that are in the Utopia, near where the ear pad teeth are? They look like small hexagon screws but I can’t really tell.
I want to try to tighten the screws to see if that fixes my ear cup creaking issue.
Post a good photo--I just changed my original pads~6months ago (not removing mine to see) and didn't bother looking at the screws.
If they look like they're hex to you--they're metric Allen head screws--or they may very well be Torx screws. Torx are neither, metric or SAE.

Forza Audio. Best "bang for your buck" cable in the industry IMHO.
*Note that the USD price is actually less than what is shown when you are browsing, because the browsing price includes European VAT. To get the actual US price I think you have to add to cart and then go to checkout.
I really like stock Utopia 2022 cable on Utopia 2020. It's just warm enough with great dynamics, smoothness, transparency and balance. The subbass doesn't quite match 2022 but it's definitely sufficient. I don't think the stock 2020 cable is up to the same standard.

I don't disagree. But there isn't another option if you want TOTL dynamic driver sound. Also, you can stick Utopia on different systems and they will sound different. I don't really like 1266 or Stealth and after owning multiple HFM I don't want another one. Ca-1a is only good for limited music selection and I don't listen that way. Stax is pretty good but only on T2 and Blue Hawaii and I don't want to spend that kind of money for 1 headphone. After going through the thought process I ended up with 2 Utopias
+1 with @chesebert on this, they are different enough where the 2022 feels more relaxed with less resolution and air compared to the original. Whereas the original is ruthless with lesser recordings and the 2022 is more tolerant. Another example, off the DHSA-3F the original is a perfect mate whereas the 2022 left me thinking the amp had an issue
Either one will be a great option, it really comes down to personal preferences and how much one is willing to spend as the original has been dropping sub $2k lately on the used market.
There is no absolute right or wrong answer on which to pick.
