Ok...so they look good. How do they, you know, ahem, SOUND?
Let's just say that Tyll was right... There's a disturbance in the Force.
I'll have to spend some good time with them before I talk about them. Resolution is amazing though, and it's not bright tonality trying to pass off as resolution.
Understood. I look forward to it.
Sounds like you got one incoming ... I am looking forward to mine but UK pre-orders are only fulfilled late Sep! If only I am in America!
What headphone stand are you using in that picture, x RELIC x?
SilverStone Technology EBA01B
Seriously a great headphone stand. Holds two headphones easily, won't tip over, and I can beat intruders to a pulp with it.
Thanks! Looks really nice!
I'm looking for a nice black stand (currently using a walnut Rooms FS stand which doesn't really match my Elear now that I got rid of the Omni). Was originally looking at the Woo type-R stand, but this looks good too. Similar price, hmm...
how's the leak on these compared to other open-backed headphones? I can't get away with these at in an office setting without having everyone hear what I'm listening to, right?w
Insane lookin setup man!
Hi Guys - just wondering if anyone knows who the closest Utopia dealer would be to me in Southern CT (Fairfield County) or Westchester County/ New York City? I looked on Focal's site and they indicated PA, but that makes little sense, since NYC has to be one of (if not the) biggest audio markets in the country.
Northern Audio/Music to My Ears

Audiolab Stereo & Video Center, 492 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills, PA 19030
Not sure if anyone actually stocks the Utopia to listen to first though. I wish TTVJ or someone else would do a tour.
