Yep… also eyeing for appropriate cable for the 2022. I’m trying to borrow this Brise Audio cable for a demo and if it does the trick, will get this for 2.5m length.

Also use Brise Yatono Ultimate with my Susvara and really love it.
Hi can you explain more about sound off Susvara with Brise Audio Yatono Ultinate? Planning to get one. (I apologise if my question is not suitable to post here)

On the difference between the BSHP and Yatono, below is what Brise told me (and I quoted)
“Compared to YATONO-HP, BSHP for UTOPIA SG is adjusted to take advantage of the matured high-frequency contours.
Since it has a lively sound, it is recommended for those who seek sharpness and speed in UTOPIA SG. On the other hand,
if you seek overall balance and harmony,
YATONO-HP is recommended.
Although the sound quality tendencies of the two are different,”

It seems Yatono is warmer. I’m using Yatono Ultimate with Susvara and I think it’s not the warmest that I have (Cardas Clear is warmer). I will wait till my pair is fully broken in before making decision.

100%. Drums and cymbals are another favourite of mine.
Feel like Focal doesn't get much recognition for how lifelike they manage to make drums sound on their headphones. At least with the Clear and Utopia. Cymbals could sound a tad bit dry at times on the Clear, but drums sounded perfect. Well, close to perfect I guess, because the Utopia is even a little better. Cymbals are quite a step up.

Was listening to the opening cymbal ride that kicks of Black Sabbath's "Supernaut" yesterday and I could almost taste it.

What's the best (COST FRIENDLY) 100$-300$ should fit AMP + AMP that I can use for a preamp from my SoundCard. Fiio? Sychte? Something that will sound like AKM not too natural not too warm not too cold. as much as spatial sound and dynamics + details as it can

Can I use XLR Female to 3.5mm Male Adapter so I can use the longer cable? I will plug it to a HT Omega eCLARO PCIE soundcard. When is it dangerous to use Balanced to none balanced it's too tricky for me to understand.

I'm having a weird issue with Utopia 2022 in Windows 11 using 7.1 with SXFI AMP. in games there is weird crackling when using specific effects in games. with Stereo it works fine. with the HD800s there is no issue with same settings. why does it happen with the utopia 2022? only on the left side. Could it be the headphones damaged somehow? sometimes I used high volumes, but it was barely for couple seconds. could be because I used HIGH GAIN? but again not high volumes with AMP?

Well, not always.

With Cayin HA-6A, Utopia 2022 somehow turn into bass heavy headphones. While on Ferrum Oor/Hypsos or Busson Grand Tourer, Utopia 2022 is simply more balance and precise. When I tried ZMF Verite on these 3 headphones amps, while these amps clearly don't sound identical, but still similar in bass presentation one to each other.

I'm still not sure what actually happen between Cayin Tube amp and Utopia. Focal use 80 Ohm impedance, so I don't think it mismatch impedance issue.
I run the Nutopia with a Cayin ha6a and its stock tubes (EL34). I like the overall sound very much. There is more bass than with the Violectric 280. Thats for the 6.3mm plug. With the XLR plug the bass increases too much, like a bass cannon. So i prefer the 6.3mm.

CARDAS CLEAR would be a good cable for utopia 2022? I don't want to get into the craziness I just want a good cable to supply the sound and 2m 2.5m
If I had a pair of the 2022 Utopia’s then I’d message Dana Robbins at Danacable to have him build an hp cable that would be appropriate for your listening chain. I have a 5ft Danacable Ultra hp cable that has taken my OG 2020 Utopia hp’s to a level that compliments my Woo Audio WA22 fully balanced hp tube amplifier to a level that is totally sublime.

They are great to work with. The Rhapsody replaced the Ultra this year.

They made me a Rhapsody interconnect and headphone cable for my Chord Hugo 2/Cayan C9 transportable setup. The Rhapsody is more flexible than the ultra. When traveling I don’t feel like I’m settling at all.

Look on used market. You can get good deals that way. Also look at it this way. You can by adapters and use for multiple headphones.

I do that with my Lazuli Nirvana on my AIC -10 setup and my Lazulie Rhapsody when traveling. So I can use any Headphone I have a feel for that day. Makes if more cost effective then but multiple headphone cables for multiple headphones.
