So focal just released another closed headphone. The Lensys, aimed at professionals. Costs 700 euro, so pretty in line with the Hadenys. Also has the improved headband the Hadenys, bathys and azurys have

I much prefer the SQ of the Hadenys over the Azurys.

Wonder what they will charge for replacement earpads for these or if they are going to be available to purchase. Anyways, another cash grab from Focal who throw their speaker drivers into headphones keeping R&D down whilst still charging an arm and a leg. I hope at least the headband is metal.

They’ve been on sale here in the UK for at least 5 days or so. I’m also waiting for some feedback on the tuning as I currently have the Hadenys but a CB would suit better. Not sold on the Azurys.

I’m not at all interested in a pale blue headphone. The earpads and headband will color awful in 6 months due to average usage. The early impressions that I have seen on the Lensys are great and exactly what I’d be interested in for a travel and roam around the house set.
