Focal Hadenys vs Beyerdynamic 1990 pro , who has tried both?

And which ones do you prefer?

I have the Beyerdynamic DT1990 pro and use them with EQ and love them. But I do want to upgrade.
I recently tried the Senn 490pro and I didn’t like them as much. The soundstage wasn’t nearly as good as the 1990 and the 490 wasn’t as punchy and dynamic.

So I was thinking of trying the Focal Hadenys as an upgrade to my 1990, ( with EQ) , but I’ve heard the Focal don’t have as good as a soundstage.

Any thoughts would be appreciated !

The profile looks pretty similar, but the fit and finish is always the best on the higher end Focals I've had. I use the Hifiman Edition XS more, and had the Arya Stealth which is real upgrade to the dt1990.

I tried the Hifiman XS and found it to sound zingy. A bit unnatural to me and lacked the punch.
I always was to try another planar , but planars due to the tech usually don’t sound punchy. It’s more of a soundstage advantage with planars.

Which Focal headphones did you have? Do you prefer the 1990 over them ?
