Focal Elear Sounding Too Bright/Harsh and lacking bass

Set-ups:

1. Lenovo Yoga - Jriver - Chord Hugo Dac 2 - Focal Elear
2. BMC Puredac II - Focal Elear

Have had the Elear for about three months. I find them to be mostly too bright and at times even harsh. Also very unforgiving with most recordings, even in FLAC. Also lacking bass and tightness.Vocals do shine however.

Funny thing is that my old Audio Technica ATH-M50 sound tighter and more balanced.

Anybody with the same experience?

Nope only you it seems. It doesn't do vocals particularly great imo but the bass is definitely heavily emphasised as is the treble.
