Hi. How can I change my DT880' pads left and right. I want to do it because I wear glasses and they have already made a mark on the pads. Or rotate them 180 degrees? How can I dissasemble the pads? Thanks

They should slip right off. Just make sure that you pull slowly at one end. Sometimes it is better if you unscrew the verrry little screws on the pivot end caps.

For glasses I just rotate 90 degrees while it is on, there's no reason to remove. You just have to make sure that the black pivots do not touch the rubber surround on the pads.

It's easy, just put 2 fingers on the inside of the pads and pull. I usually just rotate them a bit once in a while. In both cases make sure the hinges aren't squeezing the black pleather ring of the pads before you start.

I've also found a way to clean old Beyer pads with machine wash and dry by first sticking them in a cloth pouch. I wouldn't do them with relatively new pads because you will wash away some viscose lining (the silver silky shine). And I wouldn't throw them in the wash without some sort of protective pouch because you can easily tear/shear the seams from pad to rubber lining.
