Basically thats just old stock, anything new will be matched by the new prices (low aussie dollar, higher retail prices).
Not that there is anything wrong with the old stock.. the design and everything havent changed.

Yeah i use Headphonic | Australian Headphone Specialists: Buy Etymotic, Alessandro, Audio Technica, Ultimate Ears, Talisman, Meier Audio and more and minidisc.com.au as well for price reference. Once the stock dries up minidisc will increase their price.

staticice.com will give me the lowest price, just like shopbot.com.au useful now, EBAY was very useful before but the lower aussie dollar is not that useful anymore on that.

OMG.. I just tested the Triple.Fi's.. I dont know why people say there is no bass, but these things are freaking AWESOME!!!.

I cant express any techinical words, but after 1 minute (and using the stock plugs, yet to try out the others) these are comfy, and dont know if these require burn-in, but i absolutely love these already....!!!

Im in LOVE.

I would imagine the Ultimate ears would have much more detail than your previous Shure. the SE530 would have even more BASS thou. For the same price in Australia as the SE420, the triple driver i think is definately a steal. Cant believe UE would sell them that cheap in the first place.

But yeah awesome sound on the Go...

I personally would not want more bass than what it is giving.. Bearing in mind i use a 2nd Gen iPod Touch WITH the EQ OFF. I know Hip Hop, R&B, Electronic & Rock have a pronounced bass EQ.

I have settled with the Jazz EQ setting. It sounds nice and balanced for my ears. Im really stoked on the SQ.. These DO NOT sound TINNY by a longshot.. Guess im blessed with good ears because these IMO are more comfy than the Shure's & fit perfectly straight away. UE gods smiling down at me. Isolation is great too

Yeah i love it member1982.. The Hip Hop EQ has waay too much bass... But as long as i know the bass is sufficient, i can switch to that if i feel like more bass.

Lady GaGa sounds like a diva now.

Yeah its just the sound pieces UE designed make them stick out, and the flipping would tuck them in? Purely visual.

why wouldn't you? It takes two seconds

If you do it too often, it will loosen the port.
It's much worse when you're using the ES2 cables.
