Only headfi could consider $1499 "reasonable" (yes I know in the grand scheme of things such as Spiral Ears, Empire Ears, 64 audio etc etc, but still)

I hope so too. Based on what Piotr has mentioned so far about their (provisional) tuning, they sound very interesting! Although he did indicate that the release would be around December, so perhaps it is something else. I guess we will have to wait another day or two.

Yup, if you follow us on Instagram (if you don't you should ) you might know we selected 10 reviewers to participate in providing us with opinion on a pre-production model we've developed recently. Whether it's FIBAE4 or something else - that I cannot tell you. Reviewers don't know driver count nor price range. One thing though - publication online of any impressions, pictures etc by those reviewers are not mandatory, but they are welcome to do so if they wish, so whether you'll see any depends only on them.

Mystery IEM? Sounds interesting! How about the FIBAE ZERO - revolutionary new zero crossover, zero driver setup from the new "Placebo" range. Hear only what your brain expects to hear...

Joking aside, love it when manufacturers do stuff like this. Will be very interested to read any impressions that eventually surface.
