What did tips did you use on the Dream?

I have tried a bunch on the Vega and ended with Spiral Dots, and still sometimes Comply 400.
Did not like the fit from de Symbio W..

If you can find Final Audio tips I would recommend those they are a more narrow bore.

When listening to the Phantom, I found that everything sounded fuller... like having more body, but not bloated. The Mellianus therfore in comparison sounds thinner. Sorry, I'm just not very good at describing things. Basically to me the Phantom was doing pretty much everything I wanted in an iem.
Thanks for your reply Decreate. :) I think I understand what you mean. Hope you can get yours soon, hehe.

I haven't heard the Mellianus but the Hyla Nerva X is supposed to be a rework of the Mellianus. And at this very early stage, it seems to aim at realism, space, details without fatigue .
I see, thanks Mim. It seems the Nerva X is tuned to be less coloured. Interesting to try someday. The shell reminds me a lot of Kumitate Trio, and Oriolus 2. Both having powerful bass, and V-shaped tuning. Nice finding Mim, enjoy.

Well I can answer, but if you're hoping it will make your wallet happy you've come to the wrong place buddy.

Both the VE8 and Phantom are versatile monitors, in different ways. In brief, I would say the VE8 indeed rocks more, due to its thicker note production with an emphasis on engagement. Due to the Phantom's natural tilt, I would prefer it for easy-listening type music for example, which also takes a great deal of my listening time. But as special as the Phantom is for me, when taking your collection in account it might be more or less a variation of the VE8 and Zeus for you. By contrast, even though I own a couple of iems the Legend still manages to bring something completely new to the table. (It's Bass. With a capital B.)

:imp:Hope this helps.:imp:

This is literally what I am thinking. Bass with a capital B. I might as well go all in with the Legend's BASS. All caps.

I found out there's a release of spinfit under the model no CP-155 that is made for wide bore specifically for Audeze, however they fit most large bore (5.5mm) quite well cause of how it doesn't change the sound sig much.
