Also realized the A12t has excellent synergy with the PW audio No.5. too bad My IEM doesn't sell it anymore. Ordered an Ares ii+ instead, probably a bad idea considering I didn't think it was bright enough for my current taste.

my pw5 is gathering dust at its box , pm me if interested

Original owner , minimum usage , mint condition

2-pin , 4-braid , 4.4 mm termination

Easy in China
Anything is easy to find in China, provides you throw away any sense of human decency. Taiwan is much close to easy. Pithy can tell you that.

People: It's physically, mentally, spiritually impossible.

@pithyginger63 but do you have the high ground?

So I went a little crazy this week... I have a PW Audio 1950's, Uptone Iso regen and LPS1.2, Curious usb link cable, and Sonore DC cable incoming, all for my wonderful Legend X's. The Legend X's w/ 1960's and Hugo 2 is probably the best thing I have ever heard over my many years here on head-fi, now it's time to maximize the sources.

What's next? An M-Scaler? The tech that's been coming out lately is crazy, digital audio is has made leaps and bounds in the past 10 years.

Also I've been an idiot and haven't turned on DSD via BItperfect/iTunes until yesterday. Holy moly, DSD upsampling is the real shizniz.

So you were the mad lad who snapped up the 1950 eh? You'll enjoy it. Im still hunting for a 4.4 terminated one.

Yup, thanks @aaf evo ! Will be comparing it to my 1960's, while great for rock, indie etc. gets a little fatiguing for techno, house, trance etc.

Good luck with your hunt. I try to find 3.5mm (Chord DAC's are my main source) but most cables these days are 2.5mm. The 4.4mm seems sturdier though, wish it would catch on (re. DX220 coming stock with 2.5 not 4.4)

I went from 3.5mm to 2.5mm, then due to some run ins with a heavy dap putting strain and slightly bending I went right to 4.4mm.

RIP, I've had 1/8 to 1/4 inch adapters bend my connectors on rough trips. And a 2.5 is a lot smaller so I'm not surprised at all :frowning2:

I'm scared to leave the house with a 2.5, especially if it has a honking adapter causing more strain.

Ive given most of my 2.5mm to my sister. She's never had issues with them. Meanwhile Im using a 2.5 to 4.4 adapter because of the lack of decent priced 4.4mm DAPs. Still wating to hear about battery life on the DX220 with Amp 8 or the Cayin 6ii

At least someone is getting good use out of them :) All my 2.5mm are PW Audio's and they're not leaving the house.

I'm waiting for the Korg Nano tube amp until I snag a DX220. I've always been a fan of iBasso, my first amp was a D10. C'mon iBasso!!!

I sold my 1960s because I was so afraid of bending it. Might be getting that and the Blackicon single crystal silver in 4.4mm in a week or so

actually I don't so...
Burned alive in a pile of broken BAs. Sonion and Knowles in the meantime will have made enough to cease doing business.

Alright, I have to eat some crow here. These prices are SD. I thought they were USD. I find this more palatable (though, perhaps, still not affordable).
It's still expensive. But a little less so. I could perhaps go for a restaurant meal once in a while with that lowered price. Fortunate times. :joy:
