Didn’t have to wait long

The EM64 looks like it would belong in my collection eventually, being quite different from what own while retaining important qualities for me... thanks for the review!

Curious now as to what you’ll think of the TrueWave equipped Purple

Not sure but I guess the Purple doesn't have the Truewave. Both IEM are excellent, but the EM64 is a step of refinement their universal IEM can't achieve. IMHO.

I own the EM64 since October and they still remain my favorite IEM, in fact I prefer them to my other TOTL... Perfect all-rounders to my ears.

How do you know I haven't heard and written down my impressions of it already?

Actually I suspected you did, just wanted to make you come out of the woods with it
Just like I had my suspicions about the EM64 review coming up soon :p

There's car-priced cables, resonating bamboo trees and metal beads. Don't let us down, @Mimouille!

I think I can guess who's been smoking the weekly supply. :D

The Purple is interesting...designed in the spirit of the Velvets, with it's tunable switch. I haven't had enough time with them yet, but in short listen I think I prefer the warm setting. I am listening to The Chain, Fleetwood Mac, and the mids are super impressive with a nice musical tone.

Kinda looks like the Velvet with purple faceplates to me. And I'm staring at my Velvets right now.
