My SuperFi 5 Pros are on their second cable after the first one cracked at the end of the memory wire. The replacement is an official cable, but it's slightly different. It has a straight mini-jack instead of angled.
I am happy enough with the cables, but my daily commute means that the headphones are getting coiled up into the UE box twice a day. The current cable is surviving, but is getting rather twisted no matter what coiling method I use.
What are the other replacement cables like for flexibility and durability? UE custom? Null Audio? Westone?
I'm not fussed about super-exotic oxygen-free silver cabling and all that. I just want something that can take a bit of coiling every day and doesn't cost a bomb. My old Shure IEMs never had a problem.
I live in the UK, so I probably don't have quite as much choice as those of you in the US.
