Bob Dylan's Nashville Skyline is my pick of the day. "Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You" is an all-time great album closer.

Well, I think it is safe to say anyone reading this post is an Audiophile, Audiophile wannabe or somewhere between the two. I also think that this thread is a great resource for any grade of audiophile to mine for new and excellent music to discover. 58 pages of posts is a lot to read through in order to make those discoveries though. So I thought I would go through all the posts and consolidate all the albums suggested onto a list.
    That list is attached here.
There were 1455 different albums suggested. While going through the posts I naturally came a crossed many posts that suggested previously suggested albums. There 298 different albums recommended multiple times. These duplications offer additional valuable information. One person’s garbage is another person’s GOLD, so if more than one person has recommended a particular album there might be a higher chance that there will be others who really enjoy the music as well. With that in mind I went ahead and tabulated the number of times each album was recommended.
The following list is those albums that had multiple recommendations, the number in ( ) is the number of times it was suggested.

There were 43 albums that were recommended (5) of more times and those albums are posted below.
There are a few obvious albums and a few that were surprises for me in this top 43 list. I’m looking forward to finding many new favorites to discover and enjoy.

Thanks everyone for posting your suggestions.
Please keep posting them so we can make the list grow and more importantly we can all discover new Great music to enjoy.

Sorry for the multiple posts, If one of the Moderators would kindly delete the duplicates I would appreciate it.
The computer I am on is internet challenged, as is the operator apparently.
I tried but did not see where to delete the post once it was up.
If there is a way, please let me know.
    sorry for the mess.[IMG][IMG]

Thanks for telling me about using the flag.
Different forums handle duplicates differently. I appreciate being able to get them removed quickly.
    Thanks again.

    Slayer - Reign in Blood.
Might not be to everyone's taste, but if you like your music heavy, this one is definitely "all killer, no filler". I had the origianal cassette tape and LP (I think I still have them somewhere). Full album repeats on each side. No rewinding, or deciding which side was best. That tape got a LOT of playtime in my Datsun, back in the day.
Their next album, South of Heaven is another all time favourite, with not a dud track on it.

Some others that I enjoy from go to whoa are:
    Janes Addiction - Nothing Shocking.
    Ministry - Psalm 69
Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power and Far Beyond Driven,

    Pixies - Bossanova and Doolittle.
    Cruel Sea - Down Below.
