can you compare Spiral Ear SE 5-way Reference to any full size headphonesn lcd 3 or beyer T1, which one sound better in imaging ,headstage and had upfront vocals .
Did Spiral Ear SE 5-way Reference sound dark like lcd3 ?
also why there is no review about heir 10A  ?

I do have some full-sized cans, but not LCD3 or T1. In general my cans seem to image differently and have very different sound-staging capabilities from my IEMs. As an extreme example my HD800 has a much bigger, airier soundstage than my LCD2.2, but neither come with the 'closed yet carefree' imaging that my most spacious IEMs have. Doesn't seem to be a matter of 'better' or 'worse', but rather different.

PS I have never heard the 5-way Reference, only the Ultimate.

@fiascogarcia I like your avatar - it's like the PG13 version of Malevolent's from Donnie Darko

Begging your pardon, @jelt2359: I have not yet read the entire thread, but if I may; I liken your comparison to a TopGear or Road & Track shootout of exotic cars I will never own.

But this certainly does not mean I don't like reading about them! Your writing style is quite enjoyable and the interviews within each company give us a very insider picture of the company.

Thank you very much, and I WILL make it through all of the comparisons.

When I think of Donnie Darko I'm reminded of the haunting, depressing version of Mad Love by Gary Jules. Now I have to listen to it.

6+ ADEL modules will be coming out for the 64 Audio ADEL monitors. Hope you review at least one or two of them-possibly revising the A12 review or including in the A6 review. There will be the manual module + 5-6 others tuned to various sound sigs. I suggest th manual + your favorite sig.
