the ex1000 can't match fischer amps clarity detail separation and brightness they outperform the ex1000 in many ways and still have huge soundstage and kickass bass, my custom tips perform very good with the ex1000 too but i rather prefer the fischer amps my friend from spain who have the fa 4e recently got the ex1000 too and he think the same as me

I forgot to add that the lack of isolation on the Sony phones was a deal braker for me and always wanted some excellent German hardware.

about ex 1000 isolation i can say they at least isolate a decent amount of sound and not as bad as you can read around here but other iems like the fischer amps isolate much more, germans do it better

This will make for an interesting comparison, the Heir 5, Fischer Amps and his 232.

Yes, about the pfe my other friend had them and he preferred the fischer his words were that the fischer are more balanced with sparkly highs and punchy bass but never sibilant or v shape... he also said the fischers are superior technically by a touch lets see mrhizzo opinion.

By the way i have to add that the fischer are very easy to drive with the custom tips straight out a iphone 5 sound is wonderful

I shall slowly join the wait for the comparisons also! Haha. The fischer amps has 4 dynamic drivers? Or 4 armature drivers... However the bass might be too bassy for what i'm looking for T_T The rest is just perfect

Sure! There is a comparation in page 1 or 2 of this thread between the fa 4e and the stage diver 3 by burtonchell; if you dont know the stagediver 3 are suposed to compete against 1000$ iems and as you can see this guy prefers the fa over them.

The fa 4e have 4 balanced armature 3 way crossover 1 mid 1 highs two back vented for the lows.

Mrhizzo is having problems with customs with the heir 5.0 and the fischers. comparations will take some time

If you are looking for a tad more bass than the gr07 this is the bass you are looking for, the sony mh1c or the westone um3x have more or less the same quantity impact, read the comparation of burtonchell.

I usually don't care for graphs, but I'm impressed with the boosted sub-bass.
