Dear Head-fi,

I have been lurking at these forums for months, but never really had anything to say, as although i owned a Pico (bought under this forum's recommendation) I had only Grado SR-60s (also bought under this forum's recommendation). a great pair of cans for sure, but I always looked a little higher (the grados don't exactly scale

).

So today my Denon D5000s came. Sitting here with the biggest smile on my face listening to some amazing sounds coming a few centimetres from either ear. And guess who recommended them? Well, it wasn't the pope..

. already love them, before burn in.

I suppose: thanks, head-fi, for i surely wouldn't have found this great way to listen to my music (and burn some money

) without you guys. especial thanks to markl and anyone else who pushed me in the direction of the D5000, i think my journey ends here (except maybe the markl mod? recabling might be a bit far

).

cheers.

I wish I could just totally leave this place even though I'm satisfied with my cans. Just cannot do it. I just love audio talk too much hehehe
