First Silver Tomahawk Pictures!!!

Welcome all and one. Hopefully no one posts in the next five minutes before I get this thread up. But here it is. The silver Tomahawk. Its definetly silver people. I'm abit disappointed, I was hoping for a white. But it doesn't matter because as soon as I put the headphones on all colors drown away. But I know for the rest of you who don't have yours yet, that doesn't mean JACK. SO PICTURES:

But it really is silver, whats that you havent noticed because I keep on hiding the little bugger. Well heres a close-up:

That shot shows nicely how its really silver.

Some size comparison:

A nano, wallet, keys, highlighter. All things that ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SMALL!

Looks massive next to my 4G iPod:

Perfect an amp I don't feel guilt for carrying around.

Compared to the Bithead which was like 4 times this size hopefully I'll actually use this one on the road.

It sounds very nice like this. I need to get my Etys out to here how they really sound.

Neverthless imagine a giant smile on my face with little wires sticking out of my ears. Now if you will excuse I need to start making some thoughts. Ohh great punchy bass, wider soundstage on my HF-1. I like it. Time for Ety time.

Ahhhh...if I knew it was silver I would have ordered that instead of black! No big deal, but I do love the silver...much better than white IMHO.

DOH! Had I known it was actually SILVER rather than WHITE, I might have spent the extra $10. That looks NICE.

Ah well, the black will fit in better with my H120. And yeah, the sound is what matters most. heh.

I think I would've gone for silver,too. I don't know if I could handle waiting for another one to arrive at my house again!

always go black! black with RED led's is a must of must. the only amps that are nice in silver would be the b52 with blue led or some huge sp amp with blue leds..

yeah i was expecting a white tomahawk to match up with my 4G ipod... oh well... silver ain't bad... tired of my black supermacro! i might get a silver case from dr. xin!

I have a black Tomahawk in order though, since it is a better match to the rest of my stuff.

I think I like the volume knob on the Tom more than the Hornet. Looks like it might have a better grip. Not complaining, just commenting.

Yes its quite grippy. I have never owned a Hornet but I can tell this gives plenty of tactile feel that you would never be disappointed.

I'm unsure if volume pots disappoint you often but....

Call me shallow (I'll admit it) but when I look at the simply gorgeous blue, red and gold colours used on The Hornet, I think that the Tomahawk looks comparatively disappointing in black or silver.

You are not being shallow. Some people like chocolate and other vanilla or strawberry ice cream. All are correct!
