hey there, this is a pretty hype place ya'll.........
alrite i just bought a pretty decent mp3/cd player and i am looking for a pair of good headphones to go with it, i used to use the sony MDR 380 when i played Quake, but i resold it since i dont game anymore. i didnt really recognize the pro/cons of that headphone even thou i played with it for a long time, people were recommanding it to me and i just bought it, it was pretty good anywayz. right now i am looking for a pair of headphones that's not as big as those, reasonable price(the ones you guys talking about are just too pro and expensive for moi...), reasonable sound quality, light, last long, not too ugly, just a great overall headphone. to spec the price, i think not over 60 canadian dollar would be reasonable, cuz i am still a high school student... i was aiming for the sony street style, but a lotta people say it hurts a lot after a long time of wearing, so i figured since i already have a very huge head, i will forget about that. also another "personal problem" of mine...i have a pretty small right ear, every earphone i tried in my right ear hurt like hell after half an hour, therefore i always just hang the earphone in my right ear...and that's not so good. so if you guys know any good quality and comfortable/soft earphones i would really appritiate your directing.
i was searching for an answer on some website and people told me to come here and i was pretty freaked out by you guys' posts....difinitely pro styel, lol.
and here's some questions which would sound really silly to you guys:
what's "ohm"? is it bigger the better or smaller the better?
what's driver size?
can u really notice the difference between a headphone with frequency of 8hz~25Khz and one with 20H~20kHz? is the second one like really crappy compared to the first one??
what's S/N ratio?????
thank you very much for reading my forum, and i would greatly appritiate your help
you guys are cool
