Hi, just joined.
Interested in older high impedance retro phones for direct connection to old pro, tube reel to reel "monitor out" jacks (typ.2 L/R mono) and other similar sorts of things. Highest I have found in dynamic are 2000 ohm Sennheiser hd 414. Anyone tried DIY piezo or other technologies? Probably wrong place for that thread but if someone could direct me to threads regarding direct tube drive with high impedance phones that would be great. Thanks.
