There it is, my 2900 is now officially obsolete *tear* Thinking about it, it is about time the wretched thing comes back from service, and I strongly hope the drive noise is gone... for Denon that is.

Oliver... From what I know, the model 2910 will replace the Denon DVD-2200. The Denon 3910 is the equivalent of your DVD-2900.
