Firewire s/card advice

I'm no expert, but I've had some experience with Behringer I didn't know Behringer made anything that expensive. They are known in the music equipment world as a bargain company.

That device is really for musicians who want to do a remote recording with their laptop.

I have no idea what to recommend in that price range, but I think for $1200 you could do much better.

If I had $1200 for an amp, this is what I would buy.

For that price it's not bad...Behringer doesn't really make great products, but they're not bad. I think it's really hit or miss with them and quality. I've listened to some behringer pre amps, and some sounded great, while others...didn't. They can, on occasion, give the big dogs a run for their money.

If you don't mind getting used, you might be able to find much better products for around the same price.

Ahhh, ok! I'm usually good about noticing foreign currency. Sorry about the mixup.

Years ago I had a Behringer Eurorack that worked well and sounded just fine.

I have no problem with used equipment. The problem is here in SA the headphone market is so limited. I run an AV forum website here in SA and even from there there are limited options. I'm considering doing a DIY but I want a DAC in the design and most of those that I've seen involve SM components and I haven't done SM soldering for years and I will prolly duff it up
