But thats how I feel it with my ears for my preference.

Even fourte is better in my opinion. More real to life sound.
18t is like an instrument to much precision oriented I guess.

64 audio has talked about how the fourte is all about emotion, not realism. I would agree. It has a very romantic sound, which is definitely unique. i really like the fourte as well, but i do think it has some major weaknesses.

Haha ohh yea so romantic that it wants to cut you in pieces with treble. Yes love is a dangerous thing right. Love hate or deathe.

Maybe treble it is the key for emotions? Though my lovely emotions are all in that bass flavourness and I need my DD to be satisfied )

Waiting for a proper comparison between M4 and M5!

M5 has a very exciting sound due to the implementation of the Electrostats. It is unlike any IEM I've heard. The M4's sounds closer to what I am used to from IEMs (kahn , U18t, Solaris, ect)...but still has some of that emotional energy that is present in the M5's. This give it a very refined sound while at the same time remaining exciting and emotional like the M5.

These are my impressions only.

For those who prefer the analytical sound of the U18t's, I could see how they would shy away from the M5 excitement. I would suggest they try the M4's

At this level it comes down to personal preference, type of music we listen to and age might also come into play as we loose some higher frequency as we age.

That extra 5-10% is often a huge difference in the level of enjoyment..

The M5 would complement well with other TOTL including the U12T. But I wouldn't rely on the M5 solely as an all rounder end game type.

I think I’m starting to enjoy the middle atom module (-15db?) the most, thickens the mid range a bit more to my ears.
