Finished a new rack and some other stuff for my speaker rig (pics inside).

Nor should you.The Flexi/Soundstage/Salamander type racks are not meant for isoltaion but for the entire shelf to move as one unit-or not at all if built with enought mass.

(The most stable I have made was using 3/4 inch stainless steel allthread with 3/4 inch thick stained and lacquered birch veneer plywood in the three legged "tripod" version.)

then you isolate each individual audio componant from the shelf and add more mass where or if needed.Marble bases,actual bricks,paving stones,all add mass.
