Finally ive made up my mind?MS-1 and comfortability!

I think im set for an alessandro MS-1 and i was wondering about comfortability issues.
if i should better change the pads,where should i get the new ones from?

I haven't worn MS1s but they're supposedly like sr80's or sr125's. If that's the case, they should be pretty comfortable if you use the Sennheiser pads or comfy pads. I like the Sennheiser pads a little more.

If you want to buy Sennheiser pads dyed black and pre-cut, Vwap sells them (see Mall-Fi. )

If you're fine with cutting them and don't mind the yellow, you can get them directly from Sennheiser USA here.

It's completely personal preference. I found the bowl pads and the sennheiser pads equally uncomfortable, but I think that's because I just don't like have pressure directly on my ears -- I didn't find it painful, just annoying. So, you may be one of the people that find Grados perfectly comfortable, or not.

note: ms1's come with comfies. they are plenty comfy

When I received my SR125, my 1st thoughts where "Damn this isn't music listening, its ear torture"Now I barely know they're on my head. Takes 2 or 3 days I would say. Talking about bowlpads btw...
