Thanks to insomniac, I am the very proud owner of SR325i's. First let me say that I really enjoyed my, now traded MS-2i's, but the highs just weren't there for me. The harshness that many headfiers complain about, is non existent IMO. The highs have a sparkle that has to be heard to be explained, not harsh at all.

The bass seems fuller then the MS-2i, yet not over emphasized. The Todd flats really pound my head, while keeping the highs somewhat striking. Yet I feel from my first impressions, that the bowls will no doubt suffice.

Well, it's time to put some serious hours on these babies!

Thanks again, insomniac!!!!

Unless you have really big ears, the bowls are fantastic. Just remember that they will soften up dramatically, bringing your ears closer to the drivers, and improving the fullness of the bass. Try putting them under some books overnight, or wash them with warm soapy water. This will soften them up quicker.

The flats sound good with the 325i's, but it takes to much of that sparkle away.

Cheechoz, congrats!

I guess everyone has their own tastes. People complain about harsh treble on say the 325i or SA5K, but I've never experienced it before. Low quality treble is another story. (Personally, I think the V6's trebles are terrible in tonal quality.)

Well anyways, back to the 325i. I've only tried it on for a few minutes at my uncle's house a long time ago, and I really loved the sparkling tonal quality that you're talking about.

Cheers!

I know how you feel. My dad is into headphones and he got SR125s a few weeks ago and I just got my SR80 and everyone (my dad,my bro Xilron, and myself) love the 80s and aren't really enjoying the 125s! Figures. Well I'm happy for you.

I haven't heard the ms2i's, but I completely agree. I love the highs of the 325i's, especially combined with the great bass extension. I am using the senn pads at the moment, but I like the bowls the best.
