why are people reporting Sonorous VI and Hope VI sound different? it seems like many are having hard time with trouble being harsh where with the HopeVI, people enjoyed it with no fatigue at all. Isn't it the exact product with different name?

I have the sonorous now, and I have to say it matched the description of how the PH supposed to sound like with the A pad. I will wait for the B pad to see if the sound changes as dramatically as claim. After some EQ I really like it.

Maybe a test run would be good on a tube amp due to the usual impedance curve on the BAs and the generally high output impedance on tube amps, it could affect the frequency response on the BAs. Or look for a low Z-Out tube amp.

Thanks for suggestion guys. Would it also be okay to use the sonorous vi with a set tube amp that recommends 33 ohm loads? just found a great deal on a set tube amp used..

If you wnat tube sound the Aune T1 is an excellent choice as it use tube for buffer stage, you can pair other amps to handle to Low impedance.

Officially? Yes. Sonically? I don't know. What I can say is it sounds matches the various impression from this thread, and in a good way (type A pad with slight EQ).
