@FiiO in this latest FW update to X7 ii, when playing a track (Theme simplicity white), if you press the "..." and choose the heart icon (it adds track to favorites) it gives you a message in Chinese.
I imagine it says "Added to playlist: Favorites" ...

My 2 cents

If you keep it naked during the day, better leave it like that while docked as well. Since it is charging while docked, you might want to keep the temps under a certain level, so leaving it naked might be a fairly good solution

Haha yeah I think you are right. It does get hot hot hot at times and the extra insulation may cause issues down the road.

Just need to continue to make sure I don’t drop the unit! Rofl.

Still loving the product after 2 months of use and the x7 has become a part of my daily life. Great work FiiO.

I don't remember having dropped any DAP I own / owned so far

Heat can kill eletronics quickly, especially the batteries, so it is bestr to take this into account when you consider what treatment you give to your X7mkii. So far, I haven't noticed any heating issues, but when it is charging, it gets quite warm.

I am quite glad that X7mkii is one of the devices that charges the quickest from what I have in my collection

Dear friend,

Have reported to the engineer about that. Thanks for the feedback.

Best regards

Anyone getting digital audio out of X7 ii USB port for an external DAC? how is it going?
I remember somebody referring situations when X7 was bricked because of this, is it now stable with latest FW.

I want to try it but am afraid of bricking X7...

It works with FiiO's own Q1ii - but I really don't know why you'd do it anyway. The X7ii's DACs are pretty much state of the art.

Hi Brooko, my CD player (Ayon CD07) has a SP/DIF USB input and I found it works flawlessly when connect from my laptop - love the sound quality out of the home system.
So was wondering if I could just connect X7 to the CD player instead of the laptop which is less convenient since I have always to unplug and take to another location at home.
